Jamie Unwin is co-founder and director of operations at PS Tailored Events. He is a food, beverage and hospitality specialist with over twenty years of experience working in restaurants and hotels in New York and London with very prominent chefs. After moving from his native London to New York, Jamie continued to work in his chosen field, assisting famed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten for eight years. He has held director and management positions at some of New York City’s best culinary institutions, including JoJo Restaurant, the Mercer Kitchen, and the Mark Restaurant at the Mark Hotel.
Pierre Schaedelin, chef and founder, demonstrated an interest in cooking at an early age; helping his mother and grandmother in their home kitchens of Alsace, France. After working in the Michelin 3-star restaurants Auberge du l`ill and Alain Ducasse`s Louis XV, Pierre accepted an exciting opportunity and moved to the United States to become executive chef at Le Cirque. After six years at Le Cirque, Pierre desired to spread his culinary wings and accepted the position of Private Chef to Martha Stewart. Pierre’s work with Stewart allowed him to hone his catering and entertaining skills. Pierre proudly co-authored Martha's Entertaining: A Year of Celebrations (2011, Clarkson Potter). Pierre is grateful for the confidence and inspiration Stewart gave him to create PS Tailored Events.
